Deborah L. Hughes, executive director of the Susan B. Anthony House in Rochester, NY, is an engaging speaker and lecturer who brings new insights and challenging perspectives to the life and work of Susan B. Anthony and the nineteenth century reformers. Ms. Hughes is a strong advocate for human rights and equal opportunity for all, especially those who suffer discrimination based on gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or economic circumstance.
