A primary initiative of Votes for Women 2020 will be to educate young girls to the hard work that granted them the rights they now enjoy and strive to inspire them to continue the work the suffragists undertook. Votes for Women 2020 will brand the Class of 2020 by working with the 10 year olds of today who will be 18 and able to vote for the first time in the Presidential election of 2020. Women’s Rights Heritage Trail

The genesis of the Suffrage movement took place in an area of western New York stretching from Rochester to Syracuse. Within this area exists many historic sites that set the backdrop for the nascent movement. Sites include places where people associated with the women’s right to vote lived, worked, studied, worshipped, gathered and participated in social, civic and reformist events.
